Analysis of annual smoking prevalence data in states sharing a contiguous border with
Nevada. A) A plot of annual data regarding state smoking prevalence demonstrates a general
declining trend for all states during the entire period of available data, with the
exception of Nevada, initially. B) Graphing the trend or five-year annual percent
change (APC) from these states revealed the general declining trends in all periods
(1995-2000 through 2002-2007), with the notable exceptions of Nevada and Idaho.
